Official Poster

Alex and Paula Díaz, known online as hanavbara, are twin artists from Barcelona born in 1998. They became popular online for their nostalgic art inspired by 90s anime. Art has been present in their lives since they can remember. They grew up watching anime on TV, and their favorite hobby was drawing and creating their own stories and characters. They studied 3D animation and visual effects, but their passion has always been illustration, which they have learned by themselves.

They started posting their art on social media in 2018, and since then the success of their reinterpretations of anime, TV shows and music videos has continued to grow. Thus, they have more than a million between Instagram and Twitter. Their fanarts have become so viral that they have been seen and commented on by international singers such as Dua Lipa, Rosalía or Halsey; actresses like Jung Hoyeon (Squid Game) and Kpop artists like Twice, Hyuna or Sunmi, among others.

They have worked for the famous video game Genshin Impact, creating their own version of its anime opening. They have also created visuals for Kpop and Jpop groups and American artists, such as LOONA or Stephanie Poetri; and clothing brands, such as Skoot Apparel. Since 2018 they have a pop-up online store where they sell their merchandising with their unmistakable designs. They are currently working on what has always been their dream: to create a comic with a script and original illustrations, which they hope will be published soon.
